Residents For Responders is proud to recognize Officer Forrest McClain as our Officer of the Quarter.

Officer McClain has devoted eleven years to law enforcement: two with the Crockett Police Department and the past nine with the Spring Valley Village Police Department. As a patrol officer in Spring Valley Village & Hilshire Village, he has provided steady leadership, mentored fellow officers, and helped keep our community safe and secure. He is also the department's only swift-water rescue officer, a role that reflects his passion for rescue swimming.

A Houston-area resident for 32 years, Officer McClain has chosen to dedicate his career to the community he calls home. He is the first member of his family to become a police officer. He is also a twin, and his brother is older by exactly one minute. Off duty, he enjoys hunting and fishing with family and friends.

In Officer McClain's own words: "Being a police officer for the city of Spring Valley Village is a blessing. The residents are thankful for the job we do in this city."

Please join us in thanking Officer McClain for his service to Spring Valley Village.
